Pablo CabadoPhotographer. Sometimes publisher and independent curator. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. His work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in France, USA, Italy, Cuba, Peru, Mexico, and the Netherlands. Among the distinctions he has received are: the Infinity Award, Young Photographer of the Year, International Center of Photography (ICP), New York, USA; the Mother Jones Award, San Francisco, USA; a Grant from the Antorchas Foundation, Buenos Aires, Argentina; a Grant from the National Arts Fund, Buenos Aires, Argentina; the Grand Prize of Honor from the National Salon of Visual Arts, Buenos Aires, Argentina; the Klem Foundation Acquisition Prize, Buenos Aires, Argentina; and the John Simon Guggenheim Fellowship, New York, USA. He has published the books Ilustratives, Cuba the 90s (1998); 37*57'35"S 57*34'47"W (2008); Psyque (2017) and Little Suns on Earth (2023) which won the Best Dutch Book Design Award in 2024.
His work is part of private collections and museums in Latin America and the United States, including SFMOMA (USA), the Museum of Modern Art in Mexico City, the National Museum of Fine Arts (Argentina), the Museum of Modern Art (Argentina), and FOLA (Argentina).
As an independent curator, he has curated the exhibitions The Dark West by Bryan Schutmaat; Mundos Únicos, Contemporary North American Photography; the group exhibition Football World with Vik Muñiz, Graciela Iturbide, Carlos Herrera, Stefan Ruiz, Noah Addis, among others; The Shibayamas by Giancarlo Shibayama; Mexican Contemporary Artists with Miguel Calderón, Alejandro Cartagena and Pablo López Luz and Wonder of the World by Thomas Locke Hobbs.
Since 2016 he has directed the independent publishing project Photogramas.
